Ibanez Electric Guitar Squier or Ibanez electric guitar?
i want an electric guitar for under $250. i saw a squier stratocaster for $199 and a Ibanez something for $250 down at this guitar place. btw there's not a guitar center near where i live so i'm limited to only a few guitar options. also what type of amp should i get?

Most cities have a local kijiji site in their area. so check kijiji.com if you are in america, and kijiji.ca if you are in a canada. Then just search for it. You wont have to worry about shipping this way.

When in doubt, just go to eBay.com and search for the same model there. You will always get a feel for the going price (at least in the US market).
It may take a little while before "your" guitar shows up for an auction. You can in any case set up an alert through ebay to email you when one arrives.

From reviews, it seems to be an amazing guitar. I don't know how much it would go for. I doubt Guitar Center or any major music store will take it from you, but eBay or a local music store would be your best bet. Most people I've read about are buying them for 50-100 dollars. It's probably worth more though.
