Buy Gibson Electric Guitar
is a maestro by gibson a good guitar?
Well, yesterday I bought first electric guitar from Best buy.Can some one tell me if a Maestro by gibson a good guitar? or can someone tell me if there's a good Website to buy good Electric guitars?
Maestro guitars aren't as nice as guitars you'll find in music stores, but they're not the worst guitars, either. Basically, they're mass produced in China for sale in retail stores, so they haven't been set up to make them optimally playable. As a result, they usually have high action (strings too far away from the fretboard) right out of the box, which makes them challenging to play. If your guitar's action is too high, you can take it to any guitar shop that does repairs and have it professionally set up for about $30. Basically, the guitar technician will lower the action, adjust the bridge so the intonation is perfect, and make the guitar as easy to play as possible.
Guitar Center and Musician's Friend are great places to buy electric guitars online. Since musicians post instrument reviews, they're also great sites for researching guitars and finding out which ones are great and which ones look better than they play. The prices are great, too. I usually do my research at Musician's Friend, then do a Google search to find the lowest price for the guitar that interests me. Nine times out of ten, I wind up buying at Musician's Friend because that store's price is as low as anyone else's. Here are links:
