which is better? epiphone les paul special II or epiphone les paul 100?
I am still a beginner, and would like to buy a guitar, on a budget. I would like to learn to play jazz, blues and rock.
Definately the les paul 100
it is a very basic les paul, and the look can be noticed by every musician
i prefer more because it has a pickguard unlike the les paul special II
and it has more of a classic rock/bluesy feel to it when you plug it in
Tone Blast How long does it take to build my endurance up?
I have not really exercised since I had a baby (3 years ago!!). I got a new exercise dvd but am only able to do half of it before I feel like I am going to die (It is Tae Bo Fat Blasting Cardio). How long will it be before I am strong enough to do the whole thing? I am not overweight, I just need to tone up.
It should take about two weeks or so. Gradually increase your exercise time each time you workout. Try 20 minutes a day for a week, then the following week add on 5 minutes then add on another five minutes the next week and so forth. Before you know it you would have exercised for almost 30 or 40 minutes without being as winded. You have to crawl before you walk. You can do it!!
Is there a guitar pedal where you can crank up a tube amp and adjust the volume to bedroom volumes?
Like, i really want a tube amp but i don't wanna blast the volume to the point where i piss off the neighbors and they call the cops on me and so on. so is there a pedal where i can crank the volume up so i can get the tubes running hot and adjust the volume that comes out of the speakers so i can have the best tone possible at bedroom volumes without blasting the entire house and pissing off the neighbors.
Guitar pedals don't work well for that. Power attenuators such as the THD Hotplate, Marshall Power Brake, etc., will allow you to push the tubes but still have a lower overall volume. They are somewhat expensive (upwards of $100).
Some tube amps, though, have a master volume control. Each channel has it's own volume control which controls how much the tubes are pushed. The master volume only effects the overall volume of the amp without effecting how hot the tubes are running.
I would consider finding an amp that has a master volume control. One amp that I really like with a master volume is the Carvin Legacy II.

6) Gibson Les Paul Custom Ebony w/ Gold Trim ($600 - $2000?)
7) Gibson Les Paul Studio Ebony w/ Cream Trim ($800 - $2000?) Gibson Les Paul studio Custom Shop limited Solid Ebony ($1,500 - $5000? )
They all look the same to me other than trim / look.
Of course Gibson is made in USA. I was not sure all the differences are and what people (in general) likes....
I personally prefer either a Gibson Sunburst Standard or Gibson Black Custom.
