Favorite Three Guitar headstocks?

1. Gibson Explorer headstock
2. (tie) Flying V Headstock and Jackson guitar headstock
3. Les Paul headstock
It doesn't matter if you don't like the guitar what matters in this question is if you like the headstock.

Guitar Neck Tuners
Do you think you can find out what brand guitar this is?
Okay, so me and my buddy are trying to figure out what brand is his guitar.
Here's a picture of it:

My buddy says it's a yamaha because the logo is shown on the neck near the tuners. But it can only be seen in real life since it's faded.
But we're still not sure what type of guitar it is. Any ideas?

Things I look for in a guitar...I prefer guitars with tremolos, solid body electrics, any shapes good, i dont really like the look of pick guards, 24 fret, locking tuners, think neck, low action, i like the strings to be close together. Some guitars I was looking at were the Cort EVL X4 Ibanez EGEN and the Ibanez STM1. As for sound..I like versatility but Im into metal and death metal so Id like a good crunchy sound. Any suggestions on good guitars? Im trying to keep the price low. Thanks!
I personally like the sound of Ibanez and they seem to have exceptional durability.
