Anniversary Guitar Guitar song for wedding anniversary?
My grandparent's wedding anniversary is coming up. I'm already playing 2 songs on the piano. I want to play @ least two songs on the guitar. I don't know what though. I want something nice and easy to listen to and that is not to hard to play. Thanks!

Paul Goldtop Guitar Question about les paul goldtop 1956 pickups?
I'm thinking about getting the epiphone les paul goldtop with p90 pickups (because it's the cheapest goldtop I can find), anyways is it possible to change the p90 pickups and put in other pickups like seymour duncans alnico pro 2's? I don't know if it's possible since this les paul doesn't have pickup rings.
SD Alnico pro II is a humbucker. It will not fit into the pickup cavity on that body without modification. You will have to route the pickup cavity larger to use those. The P90 is an old single coil design. It is larger than a Fender single coil, but smaller than a humbucker.
Do u think i should get the les Paul Goldtop 1957? It seems like eveyones who is good has one.?
The main reason im fgetting one is becuase Slash had one. Would I need to Instal Seymore Duncan pickups to make it sound like Slash?
And doesnt it seems like everyone who is good has one? http://youtube.com/watch?v=bi62RyuGmkI
(Im not sure if that last one is a goldtop but doesnt it seem like people who have goldtops are better than everyone else? I started guitar like a month ago and am starting to get good but I cant tell the differences in les pauls so what is the difference BTW goldtop and any other les paul? Is it like the same thing but its just most expensive cuz its older or something? Is the sound supposed to be better?
My advice is not to follow what the rockstars are doing just because they are rockstars. With a guitar you need to go with what you think feels and sounds the best. Most pros are given guitars to use just so the guitar company can generate the kind of publicity you're finding yourself drawn to. Depending on your level you might not mind the feel and sound of a Epiphone Les Paul.
Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying don't buy a genuine LP. I'm the prown owner of a '71 LP Custom Black Beauty and love it. But when I got it, I couldn't tell the difference between that and the Charvel bolt-on I had previously. Now that I've grown as a player and developed my ear, I can hear the difference just by thumping the two with my hands.
Ultimately pick what is best for you. If money isn't an object then go for the LP you want, regardless of your level. You'll come to appreciate it and love it more as time goes on. If money is tight, then spend less on a guitar that works just as well for you and invest the rest in an amp that will bring out the tone in the guitar you have (A great LP is nothing without a great amp to back it).
