Epiphone Elitist Guitar Does anyone know where I can get my guitar refinished either online or locally?
I live in Statham, Ga, about an hour north of Atlanta. I was looking for a place to refinish my Epiphone Elitist Casino, from a natural finish to an antique tea burst.
go to your local music store and ask. they know what theyre talking about, and they could probably give you the bast recommendations
Black Squier Will a regular strat pickguard fit on a squier?
I'm looking to add a black pickguard to my squier but i dont know if a regular stratocaster pickguard will fit on it.
Yeah, it's exactly the same. Fender and Squier are exactly alike... look-wise, so there shouldn't be a problem. I don't even think they have Squier pickguards so yeah... Fender pickguard, or any pickguards for a Strat will fit.
Anybody know where I can find a Squier Strat pickguard?
I have a Squire Stratocaster and want to find a black pearloid pickguard for it...so far no luck....i know the Fender pickguards arent compatible as they have a different number of screws. It is a S/S/S that im looking for.
Look on ebay.com. People like to sell those kinds of things. I know for a fact you will find one there. If not, you can keep looking. Those are very common.
Which neck style do you prefer and why? i prefer neck thru. hardier feeling and sounding than the alternatives.
I have a few of each, but I prefer neck thru also. I think that it adds a little sustain, but the main reason is easier access to the upper frets provided by the smooth heel. I just find it more comfortable.
i am building a guitar, bolt on neck, or set-in neck?
i dont know what type of neck to use, bolt on necks are easier but dont sound as good. but set-in necks are very hard to find, and are harder to put on but they sound a lot better!
any help?
I prefer set-in, I'm even going out of my way to find one to fit my Ibanez JEM body lol. It is alot harder to find and put in, but I think the sound and comfort are well worth it.
Gibson Electric are gibson electric guitars overpriced?
most people believe the sg is overpriced and I don't want to pay 4500 for a les paul, how do I find a good guitar that's not overpriced like gibson's are?
I think Gibson's are overpriced. You pay for the name, the great history and the many famous players who play and represent Gibson. Gibson also owns Epiphone who make less expensive models of the Gibson line.
what is the best sounding high end acoustic guitar brand Taylor, Gibson...?.... same thing for electric?

The best sounding high end acoustic guitars are hand made by people like Jeff Traugott, Kevin Ryan, Charles Fox, Jim Olson, William Laskin, Linda Manzer, and others. Below that are small shop guitars like Goodall, McPherson, Santa Cruz, Collings, and Froggy Bottom. Taylor makes fine acoustics. I do not care for Gibson acoustic guitars.
