Fitting Telecaster pickgaurd onto a strat?
I LOVVVVVVVVVE the way Telecasters look... and I don't have anywhere near enough cash for one.
Would a tele pickguard fit my Stratocaster?
(mind you, I have 3 pots, a killswitch, and the 5-way switcher,
and I have one DoubleCoil pickup from the store, and a SingleCoil pickup that is stock off the strat.)
Would I end up having to reposition my tremelo, or cut the pickguard for it to fit?
No.
Teles have two pickups. Strats have three. The body shape is different. Also, with stratocasters, the pickup selecter switch and other electronics are attached to the pickguard. There would be no way to do this with a tele pickguard.
